Two fees come out of every member payment: Stripe's card processing fee (typically 1.5% + 20p on UK consumer cards) is deducted from the gross first, then Dyno's platform fee shown above is calculated on the same gross. Is Dyno really free?
Yes. Clubs with up to 20 members can run on the free plan forever, no credit card required. You only move to a paid plan when your club grows past 20 members or you want features like unlimited members, multi-tier memberships or staff roles.
How do payments work, and when do I get paid?
Payments run through Stripe. Members pay by card, Apple Pay, Google Pay or UK Direct Debit (BACS), and the money lands directly in your own Stripe account on Stripe’s normal payout schedule. Dyno never holds your funds. We only take the platform fee shown on your plan.
Do my members need to download an app?
They can, but they don’t have to. Members get a real iOS and Android app, and everything also works from the web. Clubs typically take their first payment the same day they sign up.
Can I switch from spreadsheets or another tool?
Yes. You can invite members by email or import them from a CSV, and members self-serve from there. Most clubs are up and running in an afternoon with no onboarding call.
Is there a contract or lock-in?
No long-term contract. Monthly plans can be cancelled anytime, and annual plans come with a 30-day money-back guarantee. Your data is yours.
